About
Research Methodology
How these articles are written, what AI does — and doesn't do — and why we publish this page.
The author stays accountable
Every article on unscarcity.ai is signed by Patrick Déglon. The thesis, the conceptual frame, the choice of topics, the selection of sources, and the decision to publish are his. Three decades of work in physics, analytics, and systems thinking inform every piece.
What AI does
We use generative AI tools as research and writing assistants. Concretely, they help us:
- synthesize large volumes of studies and technical releases;
- translate between English and French while keeping terminology consistent across articles (see our lexicon);
- keep 146+ articles current with the latest statistics;
- copy-edit prose for clarity and concision.
What AI doesn't do
AI is not the author. It doesn't choose an article's thesis, decide what to publish, or sign off on facts. Every number, quote, and outbound link is reviewed by a human before publication.
Limits — and how you can help
AI can hallucinate facts, misinterpret sources, or introduce subtle errors that read as convincing. We take accuracy seriously, but can't guarantee every data point is flawless.
